The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Driving home each day I always find myself amazed at the clouds– the paintings they brush across the sky feeling like an oil painting I could reach out and touch. The expressiveness of each stroke and the specific blend of each color across an unimaginably large canvas. Even at work while I stare at cells through a microscope, I can’t help but compare them to tiny stars in the sky. Often finding art out in the world– I strive to capture small meanings in larger pieces to create thousands of different interpretations of any given piece. I find the subtlety of art to be where it is the most calming. Where you can sit and stare and find endless ways to enjoy it. Not to be confused with simplicity, my pieces represent the hidden beauty in the world– the things we take for granted or forget to appreciate. My hope is that my pieces can make a viewer incorporate any number of emotions and meanings based on their own experiences as well as my own.
