Paper Dolls

The “paper dolls and clothes” were hand drawn, computer generated, and/or computer enhanced, then printed onto cotton. Artist’s hand printed and hand dyed cotton fabrics. Fusible bond, heavy interfacing, cotton and invisible threads. As a child, I loved to play with paper dolls, sometimes designing their clothes. Using a black and white childhood photograph of myself as the background, I added my colorful “paper dolls” and clothes.
