Jiffy Casserole from Midwest Potluck series
Fabric embroidered and appliqued to represent a box of cornbread mix, with a list of ingredients on the reverse. The lid pulls out to reveal representations of each ingredient. This recipe is a favorite, at least 50 years old in our family, showing the ingenuity of my mother to feed a family of five well on very little.
