Ablaze in the Waves presents a small red boat locked in a lively tussle with foamy surf beneath a broad, cloud-scattered sky. I used energetic brushwork. part drama, part determination. A spirited painting that will bring motion and color to your wall.

My inspiration came from a sunflower field i visited in 2022 in Ohio. The vibrant yellows of the sunflowers stand out against the soft blues and whites of the clouds, creating a scene that radiates warmth and joy.
