The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Artist Statement
Teresa Olavarria is a sculptor, metal enamelist, ink painter and art instructor. Her thought provoking artwork is inspired by nature, biology, science and social interaction and influenced by expressionism and surrealism. Her style ranges from careful studies of live subjects to spontaneous images pulled from her imagination. Her most compelling works evolve into contemplative conceptual depictions of personal experiences.
