The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Sydney Goodwin
Artist Statement
Sydney is an illustrator who strives to make work that anyone can connect to, no matter who they are. Born and raised in Central Ohio in a family full of firefighters, she combined her love of art with her family’s passion to create her first children’s book, Boots the Firehouse Mouse – Good Fires, Bad Fires. Written by Susan Hudak of the Central Ohio Fire Museum and Learning Center, Sydney illustrated the book as her senior Capstone project at Columbus College of Art & Design. Sydney’s work has been recognized in CCAD’s CHROMA, Blink – Festival of Light & Art, and as a CMEFCU Local Artist. She graduated from CCAD summa cum laude in December 2024. She is currently looking for representation for Kidlit, Comics, Graphic Novels, Greeting Cards, Editorial, and Natural Science Illustration.
