The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
Suzanne has a BFA Painting/Printmaking from The Ohio State University, Licensure from Ohio Dominican, and a Master of Education from Marygrove Collage. She teaches Printmaking, Drawing and Foundations courses at Lancaster High School. Suzanne is a member of the Ohio Art League and Treasurer of Fathom Arts Consortium (Lancaster, Ohio).
Artist Statement
Suzanne Rogers is a painter and a printmaker. She works in oil, acrylic, gouache and specializes in linoleum and solarplate prints. Suzanne’s paintings/prints are a visual journal of thoughts, paint and ink. She works on, and completes, several pieces simultaneously. The works are a record of that time span. She depicts human beauty, flaws, vulnerabilities, and tenacity as well as the beauty, flaws, and vulnerabilities of the medium.
