Artist Statement
Stephan Stubbins’ career as a performer has been highlighted by his time on Broadway in “Mary Poppins,” in the pre-Broadway world premiere of the musical “Memphis,” singing an opening act solo for Frank Sinatra, headlining an opening act for Rita Moreno, and working with entertainment legends on and offstage including Dick Van Dyke, Kristin Chenoweth, Barry Manilow, Ben Vereen, Sutton Foster and Conan O’Brien.
He’s the co-creator of the popular “Broadway Under the Stars” concert series in Wine Country, for which he was named as a “40 Under 40” and the company was named “Theater of the Decade” for the San Francisco Bay Area.
He has played many roles, but his favorite roles are that of husband to Libby and father to their one year old boy, Elliott James Stubbins.
