The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Sharon Dundee received her BFA in graphic design and painting from Youngstown State University. In addition to more than 30 years of professional graphic design and adjunct teaching experience, her award-winning work in abstract-expressionist analogue collage and mixed media painting has been exhibited nationally in the U.S. and is among several private collections.
Artist Statement
Reimagining is Repurposing
My personal definition of an artist is someone who combines imagination with purpose. By mining a wealth of “decaying” material (discarded photos, old newsprint, books stripped of their covers, etc.) I seek to repurpose it – imbuing new life in old forms. My goal is to inspire those who see my work as symbolic of reimagining new worlds out of old ideas.
