The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Shandray Spaulding, or Shay, is a local illustrator hailing from the heart of Ohio. She was born with a passion for artistic and authentic expression.

Born in 1988, Shay’s artistic journey began early on, as she immersed herself in the world of art and design throughout her primary and secondary education in Ohio. Her academic years laid the groundwork for her creative endeavors, instilling in her a profound understanding of the principles that form the backbone of her artistry.

What sets Shay apart is her unique approach to storytelling through visual art. She skillfully utilizes color, depth, and narrative to breathe life into her creations. Her work transcends traditional boundaries, offering viewers a glimpse into the limitless landscapes of her imagination. Shay’s portfolio reflects a range of interests and a commitment to living creatively.

Shay’s art is a celebration of the fantastical and the whimsical, inviting viewers to explore the depths of their own imagination. Her pieces are not merely visual delights but immersive experiences that transport onlookers to worlds where reality and fantasy intertwine.
