The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

I never considered myself a creative until I was presented with buckets of broken plates. My journey with mosaics began about 15 years ago. In that time, I’ve enjoyed honing my craft through experimentation and observation. My favorite thing to do is to add a 3D element to each piece. I seek out ceramic and resin statues to break apart and use for that 3D effect which, I believe, brings the piece alive. Lately, I’ve also enjoyed using a variety of colored grouts in each piece. Several of my pieces are on display at Whitefish Lodge in Ontario, Canada and I won the People’s Choice Award for Zanesville’s Foot-by-Foot competition.
