The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Mary Pat NallyIntuitive Artist
Mary Pat Nally was born in Youngstown, Ohio and grew up in Massillon, Ohio. She holds a MS in Experiential Education and a MA in Spiritial Psychology. She is a poet and a self taught intuitive artist based in Springfield, Ohio. Her work reflects the dichotomy between light and shadow in the human experience. Mary Pat began writing poetry in Highschool and began her artistic journey in 2012 as a way to heal the effects of trauma. She uses markers, pens, pastels, acrylic and watercolor paints to create abstract and geometric art pieces. . Mary Pat uses art as a form of meditation and healing. It is her intention that others will find healing in her art as well.
The inspiration for my art pieces is rooted in my relationship with myself, others and the world. I often choose a Sharpie marker, paint, or gel pen on watercolor paper/canvas as a way to express myself. It is my hope that those who connect with my art might come to a deeper connection within themselves.
