The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. For more information, contact Kathy Signorino, artist programs director, at kathy.signorino@oac.ohio.gov or 614-728-6140.

ArtistBio
As a child, art was always my favorite class in school and doodles were not uncommon in all my other subjects’ notebooks. Throughout my life I have maintained a close relationship with my art, seeing the canvas as a type of getaway from everyday life.
I began pursuing art full time in 2021, after diving deep into my craft as a means to recover from postpartum depression. I am passionate about mental well-being, and the topic of mental health inspires my work. I also gather inspiration from my spiritual journey, as well as the vivid dreams that often entertain my slumbering self.
I am tapped into the flow of creativity, constantly jotting down new ideas and having visions of future projects. I love to experiment in the studio, and am eager to try my hand at larger projects including installations and sculptures.
I hope you enjoy looking at my pieces as much as I enjoy creating them!

Artist Statement
I am a 25 year old artist, born and raised on the westside of Columbus, Ohio. I focus on traditional painting, as well as occasionally creating digital art. My style has evolved over the years to what is now a mix of realism and surrealism, with my signature “aura” I enjoy painting around my subject.
