The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

June Hund, originally from Detroit, Michigan, moved to Cleveland to take a position as a full-time reference librarian at Case Western Reserve University. Although now retired, she devoted many years to the Mandel School of Social Sciences. At the School, she had the opportunity of curating an art gallery featuring numerous Northeast Ohio artists.

As a mixed media artist, June has long been engaged in creating art by blending various materials and techniques, including photography, collage, and other mediums. This approach allows her to creatively manipulate images. Her recent works often feature layered applications of physical paint combined with hybrid AI-assisted techniques, exploring themes related to the complexities of contemporary life.

Currently, June volunteers as an original co-founder of the Rust Belt Photo Collective (RBPC) and contributes her time to other local arts organizations in the Cleveland area.
