The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. For more information, contact Kathy Signorino, artist programs director, at email@example.com or 614-728-6140.
Jackie Jeromin is from Chagrin Falls, Ohio and has been making art in some form for as long as she can remember. She enjoys using hiking as an excuse to take more reference photos to make more art later and trying a bit of everything. Jackie tries to remember to post her current art projects to Instagram regularly and has been getting better at that.
Jackie’s style is often dependent on the medium, allowing her to create a variety of pieces. Her watercolors tend to focus on whimsical or fantasy scenes while her acrylics are often brightly colored pieces focusing on botanical and anatomical studies. While her acrylics and watercolors try to focus on vibrant colors, her inks tend to be small monochromatic pieces focusing on values, textures and patterns of the subject matter.
