The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
Artist, J. Kenneth Grody has been involved in the arts throughout his life. The love of drawing and sketching Ken had during his childhood has helped him become the award winning artist and painter he is today.
As a representational artist Ken considers his art to be an interpretation of what he observes around him. “Whether I am painting a landscape en plein air (out of doors) or diligently painting a portrait in my studio, my objective is to tell a story, to bring life to every blank canvas set before me”.
Ken graduated from Wright State University, earning a BFA with a focus in painting and art history. He continues to learn from and work with several of today’s most exceptional painters and portrait artists. However, he attributes the most profound impacts upon his art to his travels abroad where he studied the works of the old masters in England, France, and Italy.
Ken lives and works in Dayton, Ohio. His art has been displayed in numerous exhibitions and can be found in private and corporate collections on several continents.
