Cristal Baldwin is an illustration artist showcasing beautiful traditional color pencil still life to mystical mermaids and delicate portraits to whimsical children’s book watercolor work. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a speciality in Drawing from Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio.
Baldwin’s color pencil work is currently hanging in homes across the United States in private collections. Her color pencil work is currently shown by Relevant Co. Gallery in London, Ohio. Her watercolor work is tucked into bookshelves within the children’s books she has illustrated coast-to-coast.

Artist Statement
I enjoy practicing realism in my most recent body of drawing artwork. My color pencil work ranges from a celebration of the everyday items around us- the bright colors and pops of fun to a beautiful portrait of a mermaid peeking out from a coral shelf. Sometimes we overlook the little things, but my intention is to celebrate bright spots, big and small. I use color pencil to create fine detail with emotion and love.
