The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
As a painter I strive to capture a moment in time, a fleeting glimpse of light and shadow, the familiarity of the seen and the mystery of the unseen, as well as the wonder and celebration of the beauty around us. Inspired by my love of nature and light, landscape and cityscape are my primary interest. I work in oil on traditional stretched canvas, wood doors and panels, watercolor on archival papers, as well as acrylics on walls, ceilings and furniture and occasionally design jewelry as well. I also teach classes to students of all ages to share my joy of creativity.
Born in 1955, I received my B.F.A. as a single mom later in life in Painting, Drawing and Printmaking from Ohio State University and am a lifelong learner. I reside with my husband, Tom, in Clintonville in Columbus, spending part of my days exploring in the woods on 10 acres near the Hocking Hills in Southern Ohio and love to travel when we can.
