The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond,  to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio

I’ve always had a passion for art, but I wasn’t always making art. I spent a lot of time drawing and making art as a child and a teenager, but I moved on to other hobbies as I got older. I started making art again after I kept seeing art online and thinking to myself “if only I could be that good” or “if only I wouldn’t have stopped making art”. Then I realized that right now is a good time to start again. After that day back in 2022, I’ve been making art consistently since then.

Artist Statement

I like to take a lot of inspiration from hip-hop and metal. I love graffiti, street art or even dark art, but I think my style is my own unique thing. I take elements of grunge, horror and graffiti and mix them up. I love the idea of making something dark, but also has something that grabs you. I like to combine these elements together because life can be dark or bad at time, while still beautiful at the same time. In other words, broken and beautiful at the same time.
