Bio
I am a Northeast Ohio watercolor artist who began painting with watercolors as a youth in a class at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C. This led to my interest in pursuing a BFA in Illustration, graduating with honors from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. I paint almost exclusively with watercolors and am a signature member of the Ohio Watercolor Society. My botanical art interests have been extended with the successful completion of a Botanical Art and Illustration Certificate and an Advanced Certificate through Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, PA. My teaching includes advanced botanical watercolor workshops in Phipps Conservatory’s botanical art and Illustration program, botanical drawing classes in Ohio’s Cuyahoga Community College’s Encore program and drawing and watercolor painting to individuals. I show and sell my paintings through numerous local and national shows.
