The Ohio Artist Registry (OAR) is an exciting opportunity for artists to share their work, connect with the creative community, and establish an online presence—all on a free, virtual platform! The OAR encourages artists working in all art forms, throughout Ohio and beyond, to create a profile, which allows them to better promote themselves and their work. Being listed in the OAR provides artists with new opportunities to share their work with clients, galleries, patrons, and audiences. A listing in the OAR does not confer an endorsement, approval, or verification by the Ohio Arts Council.

Bio
I am a 50 years old male living in Ravenna Ohio. I live there with my wife Angela. We have three grown children and three young grandchildren. I have been painting since 2019 and I am self taught. Even though I’ve only recently put paint to canvas, I have been in love with art my whole life. Only now that my kids are grown have I had time to create.
Artist Statement
My artwork is more emotion than technique. Being self taught gives my work a certain look that allows me to express myself without being held back by any influence. Every work tells a story or has a story. Some paintings are funny, others create great emotions. My wish is for every work I have created to one day hang on a wall inside someone’s home. My artwork is not for everyone but each piece of artwork is meant for someone.
