Money So They Say-I’m alright Jack (Tribute to Pink Floyd)

While listening to Pink Floyd the money theme interjected itself into the meaning of the work. My father always said “everything is alright and do not be ashamed of having money.” People hate you if you have too much and do not want anything to do with you if you have too little. Where is the balance?

Tribute

Inspired by trips to New York City post 911 it is a tribute to one of the greatest places on Earth. In the background are pamphlets from Broadway and Little Italy. The images of water and fire remind man that evil could not destroy the city or its people.

Guitarmania – Making an Imprint on Cleveland

“What is a guitar? It is a tool for the artist. How does an artist use this tool? With their hands. Does the sound stop at the end of the strings on the guitar? No, the sound travels through all time and space to great old and new generations of people. The hand is the tool with many different uses. It is used as a form of expression unto itself. This became the inspiration for the Guitar Mania design. I visualize the hands as they work their magic. The Eaton corporation uses its hands as a tool to change the lives of students. As a partner in education with New D. Baker Elementary School. When you hold out your hand to another person you touch their life and both of you are changed forever. The hands are prints from the students and executives at Eaton.
